Extended Family Funeral Benefit This benefit pays out to the member specified sums of money to assist in meeting funeral costs incurred by the member, on specified lives. It is a burial plan designed to cover the extended family as opposed to immediate family members. Cover is extended to all members of the immediate and the extended family. Unlike the FFB, it includes sisters, brothers and cousins. Benefits are payable within 48 hours (two working days) of proper notification of death. Benefit has a built in premium waiver. Cover is purchased in pre determined units, each unit having a predetermined financial value.
