Family Funeral Benefit

The family funeral benefit can be added to new or existing Mompati policies.

This benefit pays out specified sums of money to members and their dependents to assist in meeting the funeral costs of the member or their dependents.

The Family Funeral Benefit provides cover for the member, the spouse and up to six children. For an additional premium two parents can be covered.

Cover extends to children up to the age of 21 and 25 if the child is registered as a full time student at a recognized institution.

Claims on this benefit are payable in 48 hours, (two working days), provided Botswana Life has received proof of death.
