How To Buy The Product?

There are two ways the client can arrange to buy the product:

• Directly with Botswana Life Insurance
• Through Agencies and Brokers

Group Life and Permanent Health Insurance

Requirements to be furnished directly or through broker include the following:

• Type of industry the company is in
• Names of employees,
• Their dates of birth,
• Salaries of employees
• Gender and the desired cover, ie multiple of salary.

Group Credit and Mortgage

Requirements to be furnished through Financial institution include the following:

• Book value of the loan,
• Information on the lenders and whether they are employed or self employed.
• List of current lenders, maximum loan amount and maximum term of loan, minimum and maximum term, minimum and maximum age, interest rates. This information will enable Botswana Life Insurance to provide rates that are to be used.

Group Funeral

Employer to furnish us with:

• Information on the type of industry and the desired benefit level.
• Indicate whether it will be a compulsory scheme in which case they pay for everybody or a voluntary scheme where employees pay for themselves.
