Mortgage Protector is a decreasing term life cover plan for individuals. A mortgage or loan is not a prerequisite to purchasing this policy.

This product provides protection for individuals who have purchased or are in the process of purchasing property through a bank or any other financial institution. The product can also be used to cover any other type of loan. A mortgage or loan is not a prerequisite to purchasing this policy.

2. The following ancillary benefits are available on this policy: Capital Disability ;Waiver of Premium on Total and Permanent Disability.
3. Minimum monthly premium is P80 (inclusive of P5 policy fee)

Ages at entry

• Minimum age at entry for life cover: 21 years
• Maximum Age at entry for life cover: 65 years
• Maximum Termination Age for life cover: 70 Years
• Maximum Age at entry for capital disability: 60 years
• Maximum Termination Age for capital disability: 70 Years

Term

• Minimum term is 5 years
• Maximum term is 30 years

Cover

No minimum or maximum sum assured, provided that minimum premium of P80.00 (inclusive of the P5.00 policy fee) is achieved.

Underwriting Requirements

A – Non medical (completed application form).

B – Medical report by General Practitioner.

B* - Medical report by Physician Specialist.

C – Resting and Effort ECG.

F – Compulsory HIV blood test.

G – Random Lipogram.

J – Liver Function Test (GGT, ALT and AST).

K – Financial questionnaire.

L – Random Blood Glucose
